(Goddess of the Moon) - The
crescent moon and star, are actually ancient pagan symbols, and didn't come
to be associated with Islam until the Turks conquered Constantinople in
1453, and Osman, the founder of the Ottoman Empire had a dream of this
symbol stretching across the globe. Many Muslims do not accept this symbol.

Confucius. The symbol represents the source of life and is also called the
water symbol. Although not organized as a religion,

Zoroastrianism from Persia (Iran) teachings of Zoroaster,

been used since about A.D. 1000 to symbolize Judaism and the Jewish

Atheism (Atheist) - is the position that there are no deities, no gods,
and tends to be skeptical of supernatural claims. Michigan graphic
artist and retired schoolteacher Diane Reed designed it to be simple,
positive, unique, and attractive. The circle represents the natural
universe, the point is the inquiring mind, and the resemblance to the
Latin "A" is a nod to the language of science.

the universe, the force that flows through everything. Taoists are dedicated
to living in harmony with that flow. The Yin Yang symbol represents the
balance of opposites within the Tao, shown as the outer circle. Each

violence toward all living beings and effort in the soul moving toward
divine
